Y5 Metal Investigation

Year 5 investigated which materials were conductors and insulators of electricity, by putting a variety of materials in an electrical circuit and testing whether the light bulb lit up or not. The children found that plastic, wood and paper were insulators and copper, tin foil and steel were conductors.
