Day 2!
All the children were up bright and early after an incident free night. There were no names in the overnight behaviour book which is always a positive way to start the middle day of the residential. A full English breakfast was served to those who wanted (cereal for others) and we were off to our first activities.
The day has seen the full range of activities tackled by our groups. The famous piranha pool has been a main talking point, and once again all limbs and digits have remained uneaten. Lots of confidence and teamwork has been observed by the leaders and the teachers. The dungeon of doom has also invited the children to face their fears and work together to solve tricky puzzles.
Canoeing has been completed with no children over board (just cold hands and feet) and the trapeze, zip line and giant swing have provided an adrenaline rush and an opportunity to be brave (which they have taken).
The team challenge and knight’s Quest have also posed obstacles for body and mind, and we have really seen an improvement in the children’s ability to cooperate and work as a team.
Another epic meal was served by the Robin Wood staff, followed straight away by the team challenge and hot chocolate.
We will be completing our final few activities after breakfast tomorrow, and stepping onto the coach at 2pm, meaning we should be back by 3:20pm. We are very proud of these children once again and they will have lots to tell you when we get back tomorrow.

Awww my gosh , I don’t no why but both updates of the days have made me cry my eyes out, I love my boy so much and he’s greatly missed at home ? Can’t wait to have you back but I know your safe with brilliant teachers and your amazing class mates. Your all growing up to fast ❤️ See you soon Luca ❤️❤️❤️❤️???
Thank you so much for taking all the children on this trip. Aaron hasn’t stopped talking about it since I picked him up!! He has had an amazing time ??
