2J English and Phonics lessons – Autumn 1

In English lessons we’ve been learning about how to make our sentences more exciting to read by utilising expanded noun phrases. We’ve also learnt how to create past tense verbs – often, but not always, by adding an ‘ed’ ending to the verb. In Phonics lessons we’ve been enjoying partner work, editing pieces of writing together by spotting and correcting the mistakes.
