5L make Viking longboats

Year 5 have been learning all about the Vikings and Anglo-Saxons this term. They have written instructions in their writing unit based on How to Make a Viking Longboat. Linking to this, the children designed and created their very Viking longboats, which were then tested using motors to propel the boats in the water. We had great success and learnt different skills in the process!
