5L Sculpting clay lizards

Year 5 are reading “Holes,” as part of our America topic and have been using various materials and techniques to create lizards. Inspired by the work of famous Spanish architect Gaudi, who created the mosaic dragon, Year 5 have created mosaic lizards and sculpted lizards using clay. They used the appropriate tools to add detail such as eyes and scales, drawing on inspiration from nature and their pattern skills they have been developing.
