5L making New York Cheesecakes

Linking to our Geography and History work, America, Year 5 have researched, planned and created their own take on a New York Cheesecake! They have carried out taste tests, created questionnaires and designed cheesecakes. The class weighed and measured the ingredients to make the cheesecake base and cream cheese layer. We combined the dry and wet ingredients using the correct utensils. We first created our cheesecake base, then layered the cream cheese mix on top and then topped with a variety of chosen toppings. Delicious!
