2J Art Week – Angel Wings

Our theme for Art Week 2026 was ‘We have more in common than that which divides us’. To explore this, we have looked at the work of Collette Miller who has created angel wings murals across the world. She especially likes to paint the murals in places of conflict where two opposing sides can stand in front of the same wings. Showing us that they can be reminded more of their similarities than their differences. We therefore designed our own, unique feathers, and put them together to create our own Year 2 angel wings for everyone to enjoy and have their photo taken in front of – smiling!
