Year 5 Walk through the Bible

This half term, Year 5 have participated in 5 sessions led by our visitor from Church, Mrs Leng. We have focused on the content of the Old Testament in the Bible. The children learnt that there are different genres of the book that cover topics such as history, poetry and prophecy. Each week the children learnt about stories, books or verses through drama, discussion and activities.

The children observed the bible frieze artwork and identified the various concepts of the bible raised in the bible stories, including; Creation, Fall, People of God, Incarnation, Gospel, Salvation and Kingdom of God.
