DT – Structures: Creating Baby Bear’s Chair

Our DT project this term was all about structures. We were challenged to create a chair for baby bear using only paper! After researching different ways of folding and rolling paper to strengthen it, including seeing how many books we could balance on a rolled up piece of card (100!!), we worked in groups to create our structure. We had to ensure the chair stood up on it’s own and was strong and stable enough to hold a small teddy bear! We loved testing our creations and were really proud of our finished products.
