BLOG FROM PEAT RIGG – Day Two
Day Two
After an early wake up from the happy teachers, it was time for some more delicious food. Cereal, yogurt, toast and a cooked breakfast- the fuel of champions!
From the start the weather was fantastic and meant a full day of activities in the Yorkshire sunshine. Activities such as: archery, where we became Robin Hood for the session; tree climbing, scaling the to the top; the high zip wire, flying down like a superhero; bushcraft, where we learnt to survive in the wild and Jacob’s Ladder, which meant teamwork did make the dream work!
Everyone pushed themselves and accomplished so much through helping and encouraging each other- even the teachers! Once the activities were done for the day, room inspections began and everyone passed successfully with some wonderful greetings as the staff entered.
All is calm now, ready for our final day ?
