Science 2J – Grass Heads

As part of our plants topic in Science we were learning about the conditions that seeds need to have to be able to germinate – warmth, water and oxygen. We planted grass seeds and made our pots into faces so that, when the grass grew, it looked like hair! We completed diaries in class about the growth of the grass and, as a culmination to the topic, we had a fun time cutting and styling our grass head’s ‘hair’!
